My art stems from a desire for us to integrate the unpolished into our lives again to save ourselves from the emptiness of modern consciousness. My process marries meditation and intuition, accessing dreamlike states while making. Raw brushstrokes and crude marks refuse technical mastery in favor of authentic presence. I draw on Basquiat’s urgency and Twombly’s transcendence.

I work on 3x4 foot stretched canvases with oil paint, oil sticks, and occasionally acrylic applied directly with palette knives and paint brushes. Text fragments like 'Be doomed. Together again. Your so beautifull. How far dream' emerge through layers of color, forming narratives in the chaos. These words are snippets of conversations and transcribing songs throughout the day that I piece together onto the canvas.

My practice draws from the beauty of imperfection embracing our inherent flaws as human beings. My beliefs are drawn from Zen Buddhism’s concept of Wabi Sabi—where flaws are celebrated and the human hand is felt. Polish is refused and cracks are revered to reflect this fractured world. My work is punk, visceral, and subversive. I want people to feel something—anything. I want viewers to be jolted from the numbness we acquire when we get swept away. To make people stop and spark something within them.
